These spaces, originally serving as basements facing Teodoro Sampaio Street, now stand level with a semi-public square on Virgílio de Carvalho Pinto Street, creating a distinctive urban feature in São Paulo's landscape. Both structures had lost their original identity. Our task was to merge the two floors of each building, connecting and creating expansive, interconnected spaces, allowing for high capacity and adaptability, with flexibility as it´s main characteristic.
A complete property adaptation was imperative, addressing the demands for climate control and air quality enhancement while prioritizing environmental sustainability and energy efficiency.
The innovative and creative characteristics of those who work there inspired and motivated us to think about 20th-century architecture, specifically the Bauhaus movement. Embracing Bauhaus's emphasis on simplicity, aesthetic harmony, and technical precision, we embarked on a design journey that culminated in a project finely tuned to the entrepreneurs' vision.
